Nowadays, CNC machine tools will choose to use servo motors to drive. Compared with other motors, servo motors have very obvious advantages, so they are widely used. Today, I mainly introduce the advantages of servo motors to everyone, hoping to help the selection of servo motor drives.
Advantages of 1. servo motor drive
To put it simply, the ordinary motor you usually see will turn for a while because of its own inertia after power failure, and then stop. The servo motor is to stop when it stops and leave when it says so, and the response is fast.
There are too many applications for servo motors. As long as there is a power source, and the accuracy of the general requirements may involve the servo motor. Such as machine tools, printing equipment, packaging equipment, textile equipment, laser processing equipment, robots, automated production lines and other equipment that require relatively high process accuracy, processing efficiency and work reliability.
1. Accuracy: the closed-loop control of position, speed and torque is realized; the problem of stepping motor out of step is overcome;
2. Speed: good high-speed performance, generally rated speed can reach 2000-3000 rpm;
3. Adaptability: strong anti-overload ability, can withstand three times the rated torque load, especially suitable for occasions with instantaneous load fluctuations and fast starting requirements;
4. Stability: Low-speed operation is stable, and low-speed operation will not produce a stepping operation phenomenon similar to that of a stepping motor. Suitable for occasions with high-speed response requirements;
Timeliness: The dynamic corresponding time of motor acceleration and deceleration is short, generally within tens of milliseconds;
Comfort: heat and noise are significantly reduced.
2. servo motor drive how to choose?
Determine the mechanism part of the motor, and determine the details of each mechanism part (the length of the ball screw, the lead and the diameter of the pulley, etc.);
Determine the operation mode, such as acceleration and deceleration time, constant speed time, stop time, cycle time, moving distance, etc;
Calculate the load inertia and inertia ratio, and calculate the load inertia in combination with each mechanism. (Please refer to the ordinary inertia and its calculation method) and use the inertia of the selected motor to remove the load inertia and calculate the inertia ratio;
Calculate the rotating speed, and calculate the motor rotating speed according to the moving distance, acceleration and deceleration time and uniform speed time;
Calculate the torque, and calculate the required motor torque according to the load inertia, acceleration and deceleration time and uniform speed time;
Select the motor, select the motor that can meet the above conditions.
