The application of industrial vision system of robot is one of the standard courses of CSR. The machine vision software is the intelligent part and the core part of the detection system. The choice of software determines the time to write the debugging test program and the performance of the test work.

1. Industrial vision system camera and optical components
Usually, this class contains one or more cameras and lenses (optical components) for photographing detected objects. Depending on the application, the camera can be based on the following standards, black and white, composite color (Y/C), RGB color, non-standard black and white, step scan, or line scan.
2. Lights
The light source is used to illuminate the part to take better images on cameras of different shapes, sizes and brightness. Common light source formats include high-frequency fluorescent lamps, LEDs, incandescent lamps, and quartz halogen optical fibers.
3. Parts sensor
Usually displayed as a grating or sensor. When this sensor detects the proximity of a component, it sends a trigger signal. This sensor instructs the machine vision system to collect images when the part is in the correct position.
4. Image acquisition card
This part is also called a video capture card and is usually a card inserted into a PC.
The purpose of this collection card is to connect the camera to the computer. Take data (analog or digital signal) from the camera and convert it into information that the PC can process.
It also provides signals to control camera parameters such as triggers, exposure time, shutter speed, etc. The image acquisition card is a variety of forms that support a variety of cameras and other computer buses.
5.PC platform
The computer is a key component of the robot's industrial vision system. Applications typically use a Pentium or higher CPU. Generally speaking, the faster the computer, the shorter the time for the industrial vision system to process each photo. The manufacturing site often has vibration, dust, heat radiation, etc., so the general need for industrial computers.
6. Test software
Machine vision software is used for program creation and execution, processing of collected image data, and pass/fail (PASS/FAIL) determination.
Machine vision can include multiple formats (C language library, ActiveX controls, point-and-click programming environment, etc.), individual functions (such as LCD or BGA detection, calibration operations, etc.), or versatility (such as measurement, barcode reading, robot navigation, field verification, etc.)
8. Choose your hardware wisely
The performance of a robot's industrial vision system is closely related to its components. In the selection process, especially in optical imaging, there are many shortcuts that can greatly reduce the efficiency of the system.
