how servo wiring?must be connected to the brake resistor?can not ground wire?Today, we'll take care of it."Servo wiring" on-site small problems.
1. Check whether the power supply is disconnected.
When wiring the driver and the motor, be sure to ensure that the power supply is turned off, but do not plug in the power supply to connect the servo driver and the motor in a labor-saving manner. Once the operation is continuous, it is easy to cause irreversible damage to the servo.
2. Check the appearance of the equipment and whether the accessories are complete.
The appearance of the equipment is to ensure that the servo system you buy is genuine goods, model to version, etc. Complete accessories can save a lot of wiring time behind.

InspectionAfter the investigation is completed, skilled engineers may have already started to connect the wires. However, it is still necessary to remind you that the wiring will be safer and more efficient by taking a look at the wiring precautions and steps in the servo manual before wiring.
After reading the manual, we can officially start wiring.
Moe new general concern:With so many ports on the servo drive panel, which port should I start?
In fact, there is no unified answer, engineers generally follow their own preferences. Take the wiring of ATS10 pulse series 400W servo driver ATM40 series servo motor as an example. Mature engineers generally look at the following figure and can easily connect.
Wiring Diagram of Servo SystemPulse series single-phase AC220V

Next, in order to facilitate Meng Xin to master servo wiring and have a concrete understanding of the servo panel, we will interpret how to connect from bottom to top according to the wiring diagram.
01 Face plate-Main loop port wiring
Role: From top to bottom, the port is a power line, a braking resistor line, and a power line. The three are used to connect the power supply, the braking resistor, and the motor respectively.
Precautions:
-
Power cord: There are two general power input ports: 220V single-phase power supply below 750W; 1000W and above are three-phase 220V power supply.
-
Brake resistor wire: For the safety of equipment operation, it is generally recommended to install.
-
Power line: U, V, W, PE four lines must correspond to the port, one can not be connected wrong.
Port Definition:

02 Panel-CN3 encoder port wiring
Role: This is the data line connected to the servo motor, used to record how many turns the servo motor has gone, what state it is now, etc. Generally speaking, we can use it directly.
Precautions: When connecting this port, you must know in advance whether the port uses an Apu head or an aviation plug. Secondly, the length of the encoder cable needs to fully consider the voltage drop caused by the cable resistance and the signal attenuation caused by the distributed capacitance, recommend the cable length is generally selected within 15M.
Port Definition:

03 panel-CN2 control signal port wiring
Role: The servo driver sends pulse signals and direction signals to the servo motor through this port, so as to realize the precise control of the motor.
Precautions: Mixed use of PNP and NPN inputs is not supported; the maximum allowable voltage of the optocoupler output circuit inside the servo driver is DC30V (maximum), and the current is DC50mA (maximum).

04 The very top-Wiring of CN4/CN5 RS-485 communication port
Role: Generally, this port is connected to a computer/PLC/controller, etc. to transfer data to each other, and can realize operations such as parameter adjustment and auxiliary function adjustment at the control terminal/computer terminal.
Precautions: Generally, the wiring port is selected according to the type of upper computer/controller.
Port Definition:

The above ports are all connected to the line, plug in the power supply, and our servo system will rotate.
Step by step wiring down,Is it foundThe servo system wiring is very simple. In fact, as long as the master of each portrole, port definition, considerations,You can start!Of course, different servo systemsThe ports will be slightly different,Specific drivers are also required for specific wiring. If you have wiring orOther servo field use questions,You can leave a backstage message telling us,From time to time to answer you
