Introduction of online microwave moisture meter
RGI OnlineMicrowave moisture meter MONCONIt is a measuring instrument that uses microwave frequency to determine the moisture of substances. It is mainly composed of microwave transmitters and receivers. This moisture meter is mainly used for the measurement of moisture in soil, cement, walls and other building materials, as well as paper, wood, coal, Feed, grain and other moisture measurement.
Determination principle of microwave moisture meter
One characteristic of microwaves is that they can propagate through non-conductive materials. In ambipolar molecular structure materials, such as water, the electric field of microwaves can cause oscillations during propagation through the medium. In the process, the microwaves lose some energy. This energy loss increases with the increase of the water content of the medium. The results show that with the increase of the water concentration, the less microwave energy will be transmitted to the other end of the medium. Water not only absorbs, but also reflects some microwave energy. By using these two effects (absorption and reflection), the measurement of moisture in the medium can be achieved with microwave technology.

Before using the on-line microwave moisture meter, it is necessary to calibrate the moisture to provide a contrast value for the later automatic detection. Here, the method and steps of sample calibration of moisture meter are introduced by taking sand as an example.
I: Prepare several sand samples with different water content (known water content value) and make marks.

II: Place the marked sand sample in the moisture meter detection environment for detection.

Three: import the sample moisture content data into the system and start the test. The PC end completes the moisture calibration of multiple groups of samples through the moisture calibration software system.
