[Global Network Technology Reporter Lindi] Recently, at the 2019 World Robotics Conference, the Chinese Institute of Electronics released the "China Robot Industry Development Report (2019)" (hereinafter referred to as the "Report"). The report shows that the scale of China's robot market will reach 8.68 billion billion US dollars in 2019. Among them, industrial robots 5.73 billion US dollars, service robots 2.2 billion US dollars, special robots 0.75 billion US dollars.

The report also predicts that the global robot market will reach $29.41 billion in 2019, including $15.92 billion for industrial robots, $9.46 billion for service robots and $4.03 billion for special robots.
It is worth noting that the current robot market in my country has entered a period of rapid growth. Industrial robots have become the world's largest application market for 7 consecutive years. The demand potential for service robots is huge, and the application scenarios of special robots have expanded significantly.
It is estimated that the size of China's service robot market will grow by about 33.1 in 2019 compared with the same period last year, higher than the growth rate of the global service robot market. By 2021, with the rapid development of new application scenarios such as parking robots and supermarket robots, the market size of service robots in my country is expected to approach US $4 billion.
Miao Wei, Minister of the Ministry of industry and information technology, said in his opening speech that in 2018, China's industrial robot output reached 148000 sets, accounting for more than 38% of the global output, and the types of service robot products are becoming more and more abundant.
The report shows that China's robot industry has made positive progress in key technological breakthroughs. At present, China has broken through the key core technology of robots as an important strategy for scientific and technological development, domestic manufacturers have overcome some of the problems in the field of key core components such as reducers, servo control, servo motors, and the trend of localization of core components is gradually emerging.
In this regard, Huai Jinpeng, Secretary of the Party group of the China Association for science and technology, pointed out that "at present, robots are still facing the bottleneck of basic research and key core technology, and there are many problems to be broken through. Efforts should be made to consolidate the foundation, so as to provide stamina for solving the problem of" sticking neck "and developing core technology."
Miao Wei also said that the robot industry is facing many problems and challenges in the development process, the key core technology needs to be further improved, the application scenarios and fields need to be further expanded, and the risk prevention and control and legal system need to be further improved.
